Info-Plan would like to thank the Municipality of Athens and the Mayor Mr. Haris Doukas for the trust they showed in us in creating the SafeAthens app. SafeAthens, based on the pioneering Safe-X model, is an innovative solution that enhances citizens' personal safety by offering direct communication with nearby contacts and the relevant authorities in cases of danger. In addition, the app's web management system enables the Municipality to identify areas of increased risk and inform citizens in real time.
We would also like to express our appreciation to the Federation of the Deaf of Greece and its President, Mr. Konstantinos Simpsis, for their support. Their valuable cooperation allows us to move forward with improvements that make SafeAthens even more accessible and functional for people with hearing and speech impairments. Their contribution helps us to strengthen the inclusive nature of the app.
